Why Need Wedding Planner-How to Save Money from them

by Administrator

The planner will be the best to help you plan your wedding budget and help you allocate your budget to the order of preference in terms of services that matter to you.

Most wedding planners will offer a free consultation and will help you manage your budget and understand your specific needs from the wedding.

The average wedding can take more than three hundred hours just to plan. In today's metros with hectic lifestyles, you may not have time to compare all the options, making sure you get the best deal, and make sure all the details are in place. A planner is experienced in negotiating contracts with venues, caterers, florists, photographers, and other wedding suppliers, entertainers; the planner saves valuable time and money.

Here show you why need a wedding planner for your big day

A wedding planner can help you in the following ways:

- Save time. On average, brides spend around 200 hours organizing her wedding, which adds up to nearly six weeks in total!

- Save money. Add 'wedding' or 'bridal' onto pretty much any product and you can be assured that a significant price mark-up will also be added. Sad, but true. A wedding planner can help you to get the best deals, the best prices and show you how to cut corners and save some pennies.

- Give you direction. You might know a great florist, a wonderful caterer and have your wedding dress bought and accessorized, but there are often areas of wedding organization that brides are clueless about. A wedding planner can fill in the gaps in your knowledge and help you to achieve your goals.

- Help you make decisions. If you have a tendency to be indecisive or are simply reluctant to make a big decision about your wedding without help, a wedding planner can help you to make the right choice - from wedding favors to your venue.

- Be your back-up. Wedding planners are generally creative, enthusiastic and very well organized people! They may come up with ideas you haven't thought of, and have experience of situations where you need a backup plan or emergency fixes. Having someone who knows exactly what they're doing can ease a lot of the stress of planning your wedding.

- Provide an honest opinion. You might have your heart set on releasing 100 white doves at the peak of your ceremony, or wearing a princess dress to rival Katie Price's pink meringue, but whereas your friends and family may not want to hurt your feelings by telling you it's a bad idea, your wedding planner will be honest and find a way to compromise on cost and feasibility. Especially where your wedding dress is concerned - it's great to have an objective eye to help you find the right one.

- Negotiate. Wedding planners are there to do the hard work while you're busy at work, busy with life or otherwise unable to do it yourself. They can negotiate better prices and work out contracts with suppliers.

A wedding planner can be a worthwhile investment and end up saving you money on your overall budget, even including their fee. If you feel you need a professional organization to help you plan your wedding then start looking into reputable wedding planners - check out wedding website forums, message boards, listings and reviews to get an idea of reputations and styles and find someone who's right for you and your wedding.

So let's get started now!

First off the wedding dress..
The bride's dress can be one of the most expensive items bought for a wedding. You just have to know where to look. There are so many hidden costs at bridal boutiques that are just insane. You have to pay for their services and the time it took you to try on dresses that they didn't even help with. Ever wonder how you can find dresses online for half the price (or less) than in those stores? It's because of those hidden costs. There are more than I mentioned but that's just a start!

Now, what about catering?
If you plan on having a big reception, full of lots of people, you want a lot of food that's not going to cost you a ton of money. The average cost for food is about $20- $40 a person. That can definitely add up. If you search around on the net there are a lot of places that will cater for a very inexpensive price. Depending on what time of food you want you can do a search for sandwich places, Italian, Mexican. If you have the extra people around willing to help you, you could also buy things in bulk from places that carry it that way, like Sams. Fruit and veggie trays are also a great hit and not expensive.

Wedding decoration
And the thing that really makes your wedding stand out, aside from the bride, are your decorations. Now, this you do not want to look cheap but this can really send your budget skyrocketing. An amazing thing and gorgeous thing you can do is to go to a dollar store(yes a dollar store) and most carry paper lanterns that are round. You just unfold them, put a battery in, turn it on, and hang it up. They are absolutely gorgeous and you can put fake vines or flowers around them. That's just one idea. Centerpieces are definitely something that people notice right off the bat. If you don't want to use flowers (because that is very expensive and very common) you can use pieces that involve balloons, picture frames of the bride and groom, candles, or vases with sand.

Bridal accessories
You start out making a list of the wedding accessories it will take to pull off a wedding. These lists can be easily found all over online, So you pick out the very things on the list that matter most to you, make your own list and begin to call getting prices. Such as bridal headpiece, shoes, gloves, clutch purse and wedding jewelry, If you find you cannot do everything yourself, you do have some options in getting others on board. Even a wedding planner can be hired just part-time or to get you started and then have her on the wedding day itself.

If monies a problem, you can delegate the things your wedding planner is very good at, like organizing the wedding party and instructing them about their responsibilities at the wedding and before.
